Choco Chicken

I was able to renew my PRC ID last week after a few almost-mishaps, and just yesterday got my drivers’ license ID… after I’ve renewed it back in 2017!

Such successful government office transactions give me immense joy. Avoiding scenarios such as being told to come back for a missing requirement is always a reason to celebrate. The task I’ve given up on was filing documents with the BIR. When I started private practice in 2013 I meticulously read through all the important stuff so I wouldn’t have to hire an accountant. I would meet with my friend Hatchett who is a pediatrician, fill up our tax return forms in Jollibee together, and file taxes together for our pathetic clinic income. I thought I was becoming an expert, but much to my chagrin new BIR memoranda would crop up more often than I could keep up with, and I ended up hiring an accountant after a year of lining up in the local RDO’s.

Still in my ID accumulation streak, this afternoon I decided to get something more important than a PRC or a drivers’ license ID. I bought… an SNR Membership ID! To my joy it came with a free cheeseburger, french fries, AND strawberry smoothie! I then proceeded to buy Pringles, kornik, and for the sake of getting something not available in Puregold, a box of animal-shaped chocolates.
