Ablaze

As my publisher said during our first meet-up, “don’t quit your job!” Clearly I still need a day job to pay the bills, but I also need the experiences from said day job to get me to write something. Still, the past few days I’ve been focusing more on getting the word out about the book, aka self-promotion, which includes packing and LBC-ing orders made through the clinics. I was initially concerned that people going through my social media might already be nauseous from the endless posts about Even Ducks Get Liver Cancer and Other Medical Misadventures, but as a fellow writer who’s been selling books for much longer said: “ganun talaga!” It’s not like we have a marketing team, or any other avenues to get the whines out. Besides, it technically took me over 15 years to form a cohesive book, so a few weeks of promodizing might not be too much. Rationalizing over.

Henceforth, here are some photos from the past couple of weeks. It’s still available in Lazada, the Milflores Publishing website, my clinics, and hopefully in Fully Booked this week! And for those who have already read the book, you may now render judgment at Goodreads.com! https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/62980543-even-ducks-get-liver-cancer

With hair a bit messy from the hospital cap I’d just removed, and my face still with all sorts of N95 marks!
