Paper Thin

Mondays have been consistently hectic the past few months. Like as soon as I arrive in the clinic, it would be an amazing race to all the chemo, outpatient consults, inpatient rounds, transfer to my afternoon clinic, outpatient chemo, and so on. I usually get to squeeze in thirty minutes of lunch in some hi-way restaurant, but today I only had time to do drive thru in McDo. I stopped eating fast food hamburgers the past few months, finding the quality getting worse, like each patty now contains only 5% of the purported meat. But I was just so hungry today and thought I haven’t had the mc chicken sandwich in years. I ordered one and expected a hefty, delicious burger, only to discover that the patty is now paper thin and that in general it tastes terrible!

Eeeeek!
